Troop Camp

From the 24th-27th September 2015 Robin Hills ran a Troop Camp. It was a 4 day camp filled with fun, lots of advancements, and hard work. the camp was held at Bartletts Farm in Rustenburg. We had 2 patrols attending Awesomeness and Dragons. Well done to the Patrols for a great camp.


Thank you to the Parents for assisting with the cooking and transport.

It is always a great thanks to all the ATS’s for making the camp run smoothly and helping run the camp.

Skills day 2015

Skills day was held on the 19 september2015. It was a great day filled with lots of fun and hard work. There were 4 bases Cooking, Mapping, Pioneering and Backwards. Well done to all the Troops that took part. With 60 scouts taking part in the activity’s.

Well done to Springboks for winning the Pioneering Compo and Lions for winning the Cooking compo.

Kim Shield 2015

Kim Shield is a great hiking Adventure were the the scouts hike about 20km and complete different Activities. This year Kim Shield was held at Northern Farms. There were 60 patrols that took part in the event. Robin Hills sent 3 patrol to the event Springboks, Lions and Leopards. The scouts all had a great time and all were smiling at the end of the hike.

Well done To Alex Cor for taking 1st place for Best Patrol Leader.

World Jamboree 2015

World Jamboree was held in Japan this year. with over 30,000 participants. We sent 4 Scouts and 2 Scouter this year.

The scouts had a fantastic time in Japan. Learning the culture, making new friend from all over the world, taking part in new and exiting activity’s.

Robin Hills Win Kon Tiki 2015

Well done Robin Hills Scout Group! We entered two teams and came First and Fifth in 2015! Kon Tiki 2015 was from Friday 15 May to Sunday 17 May.

Thanks to all the scouts who worked so hard, the adult scouts for their support and leadership and for all the parents who helped.
